A chip factory the size of a city sounds like a meme until you run the numbers. We unpack the Terafab claims, why “a hundred million square feet” would be a world-changing bet on domestic semiconductor manufacturing, and what it could do to the cost of microprocessors, AI hardware, and data center capacity. Then we follow the thread where it always leads: power. If compute gets cheap, electricity becomes the bottleneck, and we talk candidly about energy options, efficiency ceilings, and why Moore’s Law never promised your grid would keep up.

We also shift from industrial-scale tech to personal-scale economics with a surprisingly practical segment on YouTube monetization. We talk watch time versus subscriber count, why tutorial and training content can earn real money without chasing controversy, and how understanding your audience demographics changes the kinds of sponsors and ads you should pursue. If you’ve ever wondered whether creating is “worth it,” this section gets concrete fast.

The back half turns to law, privacy, and institutional behavior: an active shooter story that spotlights how armed citizens can disrupt outcomes, a major suppressor and NFA ruling with real implications for Texans, and why enforcement and dealer risk tolerance matter as much as headlines. We also dig into license plate reader surveillance, predictable abuse of access, border-search phone security, plus a rapid-fire run through culture and politics including birthright citizenship arguments and the return of SAT requirements. If you like conversations that connect tech, incentives, and governance without pretending the tradeoffs are clean, you’ll feel at home here. Meetings, Soda, Sassafras Legends

SPEAKER_00

Howdy, Ben.

SPEAKER_01

How are you today? Good, Gene. I'm doing good. Well, that's good.

SPEAKER_00

Been a busy camper?

SPEAKER_01

Dude, I had 14 fucking meetings yesterday.

SPEAKER_00

That sounds like some kind of record.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. Started at 7:30 with Scotland and ended at after 7 with Guam.

SPEAKER_00

Guess what I'm drinking? Oh. Diet knockoff H E B Dr. Pepper. Okay. Why? I'm out of tea. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

But and it's too hot to make hot tea. I'm just not a fan of Dr. Pepper. Well, you get the hell out of Texas, then I'll tell you that. It's just not, it's not a soda. I prefer a Coke. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

How about a Sarsparilla?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, fuck yes. Love Sarsaparilla and good root beer. In fact, when I was a kid, we used to make sassafras tea. Oh, that's illegal. Why?

SPEAKER_00

But it's illegal now. You can look it up. It's uh the illegal. Because it's got some kind of psychoactive thing in there, and it's illegal now. No Yeah, you can't you can't have sassafras anymore. Mm-hmm. There was, in fact, I remember watching a video not too long ago about a guy that uh had to go to Mexico in order to make the recipe. No, they expect to differ.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, gumbo filet is made out of sassafras. You can buy that in the grocery store. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know, man. That's what the video is.

SPEAKER_01

Sacerol free commercial variants. Huh.

SPEAKER_00

But it's there's some something in it that's considered a uh scheduled narcotic.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Well, I don't know. Anyway, we used to make sassafras tea all the time.

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Which is the origins of root beer and sarsaparilla. Right. In fact, that's why it's called root beer, is because it's made with the root of the sassafras plant.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Yep. That is true. And it tastes pretty good. Or so I've heard, because I don't consume illegal things, of course.

SPEAKER_01

Well, uh I'll go, you know, the river property you have over there, there's plenty of sassafras grown around there.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think the issue is in finding it. I think the issue is just in complying.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, when have you known me to comply, Gene?

SPEAKER_00

Traditional sass tea is made from the root bark, and it is illegal to sell in the United States because it contains saffral, a compound the FDA banned from all foods and beverages in 1960.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because it's a carcinogen.

SPEAKER_00

Sure, that's what they tell you.

SPEAKER_01

And what do you think the real reason is?

SPEAKER_00

Makes you smarter.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, well, uh, I guess it worked on me as a kid.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. That's the only reason.

SPEAKER_01

Uh-huh. Hey, uh speaking of smarter. Speaking of smarter.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Have you seen the I'm totally right on this. Let me finish this. Saffron, the the compound in the oil, is used to manufacture MDMA.

unknown

Huh.

SPEAKER_00

So anyway, you were saying back when you were on the compound and you were doing MDMA there. What about it?

SPEAKER_01

Actually, that started as a kid. We used to go up to Kirbyville. My grandparents had a little farm up in Kirbyville, and we'd go out in the woods and find Sasperas and make Sasperas teas like little kids.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. See, MDMA is good for you. Not medical advice.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, anyway, did you see the terror? Did you see the Terrafab?

SPEAKER_00

The Terafab, I saw the story about the Terafab. I Right.

SPEAKER_01

Did you see the renderings of it and stuff though?

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no. I just read about it.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, they are totally putting a particle accelerator in there. No way. Only reason for some of the shapes.

SPEAKER_00

What have they got to do with a particle accelerator?

SPEAKER_01

So there is a and Elon even retweeted

Terafab Rumors And Massive Scale

SPEAKER_01

it. There is a etching method that instead of using a laser and some of the acids currently used in chip production, literally using the particle accelerator to do the etching in the chips. What? That's not a crazy point. This thing is going to be bigger than 10 pentagons.

SPEAKER_00

So you're saying that the wormhole opening is actually going to be in Texas, is what you're telling me.

SPEAKER_01

All I'm saying is there's going to be a shit ton of employment around here. The initial build out is scheduled to be like $19 billion.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. Look it up.

SPEAKER_00

No, that's cool. No, I get it. I'm sure we'll see. I'll wait till there's a video on it so we'll do a video, I'm sure.

SPEAKER_01

I had posted a report about it, but in our chat. At least I thought I did. But no, it's hilarious. I realized they were going to make a big production facility out there. I just did not realize the scale of this thing that they're doing. Like it it's insane.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, it's great for the area, it's great for Grimes County. The amount of tax base that's going to be there, and it's going to be really interesting to see this new chip process.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, that's fascinating for sure. You've posted a whole shit ton of stuff that I didn't read. Yeah, yeah. So hopefully you can kind of talk about all this stuff because I have no idea what you put.

SPEAKER_01

I'm trying to find this. Yeah, so the gigafactory is 10 million square feet. Terafab. Terafab's going to be over a hundred million square feet. What? That's what they're saying. That's not a building, that's a city. That's what Elon, that's what they have put on the website. That's a city. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What are they building?

SPEAKER_01

Produce a trillion watts of compute per year.

SPEAKER_00

And who's going to power this puppy?

unknown

They are.

SPEAKER_00

They're all nuke.

SPEAKER_01

They are building their own power for this.

SPEAKER_00

Like a nuke.

SPEAKER_01

Actually, I think they're going to do natural gas.

SPEAKER_00

They're going to do natural gas. Really? Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And uh the initial phase is 16.8 billion from Tesla and SpaceX combined. Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think they're going to build a portal. That's my guess.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe.

SPEAKER_00

But yes, we always knew Elon wanted to go to Mars. What we didn't know was he's going to just walk through the portal to get there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Anyway, the I'm trying to find the tweet that where he tweeted out this acronym with for the win. Yeah. F the process is called F E L for the WIN. Free Electron Laser Lithography. Oh, I've heard of that. Yeah. Yeah. But it requires a particle accelerator. And Elon retweeted it for the win.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So he may be trolling, but uh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I don't believe that requires a particle accelerator, but it'd be cool if they actually build one.

SPEAKER_01

Well, there's this in the renderings, there's this odd ring that goes uh around the center of the factory that you know would be a particle accelerator shape. I'm just saying. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I really hope my company gets to build some of this or do something with it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you're in the right area. That's yeah. So you're telling me I need to apply to Elon's companies again. My yearly no thank you letters. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Well, let's do it. I'm up for it.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, why not? Dude, this thing's gonna be huge. Sounds like it.

SPEAKER_00

A hundred million, that's that's big.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, if they go to fruition of what the renderings and what they're saying they're gonna build, like this is gonna be a shit ton of jobs for the area. This is gonna be huge.

SPEAKER_00

Or at least the robots that live there, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So the comparison, T uh TSMC, their large Fab 18 is only 10 million square feet. The TSMC fab that they're building in Arizona is only 3.5. Right. Samsung's Taylor, Texas fab is 2.7 growing to 4 million.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's why I thought it was four.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Fifty times the size of the Pentagon.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, that's that is crazy, man. That's in the sanity.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I mean it so he's talking about

Particle Accelerators For Chipmaking

SPEAKER_01

you know building terawatts of compute, meaning the power that would be required for the chips, right? Like every year, when currently our the global chip production is like a few hundred gigawatts a year. Yeah. So he's gonna make microprocessors really fucking cheap.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's good, because that's what we need, is definitely cheaper. For sure.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but we're gonna have to power them all, Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but again, I think nukes are the answer. They've been the answer for a long time, and they'll continue to be the answer. At least until we get fusion working, and I hear that's only about 12 years away.

SPEAKER_01

They've only been saying that for how long?

SPEAKER_00

My whole life.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But you know what they say? Even the broken clock is right once a day.

SPEAKER_04

I guess.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah. At some point we'll be uh the the real question is will Star Citizen be finished first or will we have fusion power?

SPEAKER_01

Or are the Terrafab built and like I can't believe that there were citizens protesting this and saying they didn't.

SPEAKER_00

I know. Fucking morons that'd be lined up next to a fence.

SPEAKER_01

The the amount of jobs that this is gonna bring is just insane. Also, you know, if robot technicians, if he gets this this chip process and reduces power per compute cycle even further than we already have, like the the amount of power that modern chips take, while it's tremendous, if you compare that to the efficiency of the compute, and you compare that to just even 2000s technology, it's way, way ahead of its time, right? Uh like we really have broken Moore's law in a lot of ways.

SPEAKER_00

Um not as far as power though. I just watched a video on this recently and looking at specifically the power per per transistor on a gaming card. We since the the 1080 came out, which was about a decade ago, or something, maybe 11, 12 years ago, but somewhere a little over a decade, I think. The amount of power required has only been reduced by 60%. Right, but the compute has in Yeah, the compute's gotten up a lot more than double, but the power's basic basically just been cut in half. The power is not keeping up with the compute.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So if you look like an Pentium 4, which was the flagship multi-core processor that came out, would draw up to 115 watts, whereas the current i9 draws right around 125 watts. But when you compare the actual not even the speed, because the Pentium 4 is boosting up over five gigahertz, right? But the amount of operations per second each one does, there's a lot of efficiency gain, right? My point is we have a non-linear, it's not a linear line that because Moore's Law never said anything about power consumption. No, he was a lot of people.

SPEAKER_00

Moore's Law was just doubling uh transistors every 18 months, right?

SPEAKER_01

And that has but you would think with that exponential curve, you would have at least a geometric curve following behind it on power use, but we don't, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean things are more efficient. We've gotten more efficient, but we've gotten way faster than we've gotten more efficient. Maybe that makes sense. But you know, I mean the the the curve that I'm not liking, and we talked about this morning on my other podcast, Unrelenting, that I do with a professional podcaster. And uh ouch. On that podcast, uh, the the thing that came up was the price of everything in technology today versus a few years back. Oh yeah, it's going in the wrong direction a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Well, but something like the Terrafab producing that much compute and storage could dramatically change it, especially being made here.

SPEAKER_00

Like six terabyte hard drives are now double what they were.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah. Uh hard drives, not even SSDs.

SPEAKER_00

Not even SSDs, just hard drives. And he and Darren's like, well, do they even use those in the data centers? Like, uh probably not. I mean, I'd be shocked if anyone was building a data center today using hard drives.

SPEAKER_01

Backups and cold storage type stuff where you can just get the density in.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but you're not using six terabyte ones, you're using like 24 terabyte drives at that point. Yeah, I mean it's just stuff that was already kind of looking obsolete, it's gone up in price. Memory has gone up crazy. Video cards have gone up crazy. CPUs are still kind of hovering around the same price point. They're not too bad. They're not going down, but they're not really going up much. But man, so many different things are going up in price.

SPEAKER_01

By the way, speaking of your other co-host, did you hear he and Larry did a three-way with Adam?

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. I didn't listen to it, but I heard from him that they did a three-way, yeah. Well, damn it. I think it was a first for him.

SPEAKER_02

I thought I was gonna be able to make a joke. Well, no, I mean it didn't play her out.

SPEAKER_00

It's it's a thing. You know, what am I supposed to say? They didn't do it, uh, have a three-way with Adam? Of course they did. They're all attractive men in their own right. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Did you listen to that yet or not? What's that? Did you listen to that episode or not yet?

SPEAKER_01

No agenda, yes. Yours, no.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, yeah. Well, that's I see you got your priorities. Yeah. Of course.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's and I already knew that Adam was gonna be on uh episode because of the show he does with uh.

SPEAKER_00

I'll tell you, there was a side effect of Adam being on, and that is that today for the first time on Unrelenting, I was greeted with Clean Feed Pro.

SPEAKER_01

I did get far enough in yours to hear that.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah. I mean, there's zero difference on the on the user side. There's obviously a difference on the the owner side, but on my side, the only thing that that I noticed a difference in is that my name was already in there and locked, so I couldn't mess with it. Hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Which you should let us use his account.

SPEAKER_00

I know, right? Because piracy doesn't count, right? That's all good. Nobody has copyright or anything, so you might as well share. Share and share alike, right?

SPEAKER_01

Oh man.

SPEAKER_00

I do think 25 bucks for this is way overpriced for what it does.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you would have to be doing like Zoom charges less and does way more.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, there's arguments there, but I mean as far as audio, Zoom is absolutely top quality. They they went out of their way to build an interface that specifically was tailored with options for musicians playing remotely. So super low latency, uncompressed audio streams. Shit that we don't really need for voice.

SPEAKER_01

Uh anyway, what's uh what's Darren's impression of how it's going?

SPEAKER_00

You know, good.

SPEAKER_01

I think he's donations were dramatically down.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, I mean, you know, that's to be expected. Obviously, people have been donating. Well, dude, when you have seven-hour shows mostly because of the length of donation segment where people are donating a bunch of money because of John, that's that's a limited time thing. And obviously it's gonna go down. So I don't know. I don't know. You know, what he's used to making in donations is having like 25 people donate 10 bucks a piece.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, I mean he's still getting more than that, so yeah, exactly for now. But um, I think if Adam comes on every now and then and does what he did Thursday, I think they'll be just fine. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and and like I said before, I Adam definitely deserves a break.

SPEAKER_04

Indeed.

SPEAKER_00

So and tomorrow is John's funeral. Which I'm not going to. I I made the decision, I just have too much stuff going on right now. But I will be pouring out a bottle tomorrow when John's actually laid to rest. In his honor. I don't think so. Last time I checked was just over a thousand dollars.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no. You you he what he was always the guy when he was picking out wines, was looking at the value of the wine.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, for you maybe. For me, he was picking out the good wine. And so I'm actually gonna I'm gonna pour out a Bordeaux that he helped pick about six, seven years ago. Back before I quit drinking. It's still sitting in the fridge, so there's a thousand bucks less that you're getting, but it's well, it's well worth it as a dedication to John. All right. You don't want a Bordeaux anyway, you don't drink that stuff.

SPEAKER_01

I I like Bordeaux. I actually have uh Chateau Rothschild uh from 2008 or 3. I'd have to go look at the bottle anyway. Oh, there you go. You can pour one out soon. It was a $50 bottle when I bought it, and last time I looked, it was over $300.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Who knew wine was an investment?

SPEAKER_00

It is if you don't drink it right away and you hang on to it for a while, sure. And if it's decent wine. I mean, a cheap wine isn't gonna be going up in price. So but I I think this is a Chateau Margot. I need to go down downstairs and check. But either way, I think it's a nice little commemoration of John's passing. Okay. What else you got? You got a bunch of links in here.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, dude. There uh do we want to talk about the Idaho shooting?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I didn't read any of them, so you could talk, we could talk about anything.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you but you've seen the stuff about that shooting in Idaho Falls.

SPEAKER_00

No. What have you been doing for the last week? Do you want to do that segment first? So something that I figured out just now on YouTube is how much YouTube pays. Which I I I didn't realize previously. I always thought, you know, I mean, dude, it's part of the reason I haven't bothered trying to get, you know, get paid on YouTube, turn on monetization on there, because I'm like, I've got less than 5,000 people on there that are subscribed. What what am I gonna make? Like 500 bucks a year. Right? What why why bother? It's not worth the time. I was wrong. Not a phrase you're gonna hear much from me, so you know, soak it in.

SPEAKER_01

But um I I need a clip.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you need to clip this one exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Uh turn it into a jingle.

SPEAKER_00

Uh-huh. Uh-huh. So what do you what do you think my projected amount of money I'm going to make off YouTube

YouTube Money Math For Creators

SPEAKER_00

at like if if there's no more additional subscribers, if I'm at roughly 5,000, which is where I'm at, I'm I'm making videos the way I am right now. What what do you think that is per year at 5,000 subscribers?

SPEAKER_04

Five to ten grand? That's actually pretty damn good.

SPEAKER_00

$10,000. Okay. That's not. I mean, $10,000 buys a lot of computer gear. That upgrades a gaming computer quite nicely.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, but how many hours a week are you spending doing?

SPEAKER_00

The exact same hours I would be playing the games. The only difference is I'm running video recording software.

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_00

While I'm playing the games.

SPEAKER_01

So this is a full-time job for you now.

SPEAKER_00

Well, so is playing games. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I mean the return on investments.

SPEAKER_00

It's a well-paying job that pays $10,000 a year.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and if you Ubered during the same time for the same amount of time, you'd probably make it. No, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_00

Uber puts a lot of wear and tear in your vehicle. This doesn't. But that's obvious. My point here is start doing the math, right? So 5,000 subs is about 10 grand a year, is what it comes up to. Okay. So how about 50,000 subscribers? That's like 100 grand a year.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know if it scales that way, but sure.

SPEAKER_00

Well, why wouldn't it? Because you're getting paid per view minute. Why wouldn't it scale?

SPEAKER_01

Well, because if you've got five, so how what did you say?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I've got five, just under five, in fact.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so you're gonna make ten, and then you you scale it to what?

SPEAKER_00

50,000.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So on track for 100 grand a year.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Same amount of work, keep in mind, right? It's not like there's more work. It's just the number of subscribers you have.

SPEAKER_01

Subscribers, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And in fact, it's not even technically the subscribers, it's how much watch time you get. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Subscriber count matters as far as getting additional.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Subscriber count gives you a rough indicator of what the potential is. But it's not what actually determines what your payout is gonna be. So it it's just sort of a a side measurement, as it were. But it's still an interesting thing. Right. But the I look at some of these people that who's I w there's a video that keeps getting recommended to me or a creator that gets and she's got five million subscribers. And she's like 22 years old. And I'm like, okay. I have an idea of how much money she's making.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah? It it's not like everybody wants to be an influencer.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. It's like when you're getting a check from YouTube that is like 200 grand a month. I think that that kind of makes people not want to do real jobs. It's like you too can be a well-paid podcaster.

SPEAKER_02

So again, I'm not I'm not saying that I mean podcast this podcast has never generated much, but that's what No, no.

SPEAKER_00

It's a this podcast lucky to break even then. Yeah. But still, like what it comes down to is so again, I I told you how many subscribers I have. So far this month, I've had 63,000 views from 5,000 subscribers.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Well, the reality is most of my views are actually not subscribers, right? This is the same thing everyone bitches about is how come you're watching the video, but you don't subscribe to me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but so here's the problem with doing the video game content.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

People are gonna come and look for a tutorial or something like that, but they're not gonna subscribe.

SPEAKER_00

Well, if they come more than once, then they're likely to, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Sure, if they're obsessed with the same game you are, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But you know, unless you start doing a variety or something like that.

SPEAKER_00

That's kind of what I've realized, is that I was doing one game for like nine months, and I've kind of hit a wall. I'd like everyone who wants to watch me that plays that game has already been watching me. And so I've switched games from one X4.

SPEAKER_02

What's X4?

SPEAKER_00

So I was doing Elite, and now I'm doing X4. It's a space game.

SPEAKER_01

So now you're gonna get genre locked in. You need to play some first person shooters there, my friend.

SPEAKER_00

I did play some first person shooters. I played uh when the beta of Battlefield was out, I was playing that and streaming that quite a bit. First person, the problem with first person shooters is I'm not very good. I'm too old. My reflexes are too slow. The only thing I can really play decently is a sniper because then I'm not moving as much. But I, you know, I'm not gonna have the reflexes to beat out 20-year-olds when it comes to clicking a button. So I'm not gonna get as much there. So the the genres that work for me, and this is by the way, specifically for training videos. There's a different type of group that watches just other people play, but for people that are want to find out how to do something, they're looking specifically for training videos, and that's the subcategory that I focus on. It's all about training. It's like, how do you do this? What have you done here? How is how what are the three ways to accomplish X, Y, and Z? You know, that kind of stuff. And it is kind of neat when you look at like one video, and and it says that that one video has like a couple hundred dollars worth of ad money for you from one video.

SPEAKER_01

Well, cool. Pretty cool. We need you need to figure out the avatar skin thing so we can do that.

SPEAKER_00

I do, I do, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, for sure. But the the bottom line on this is I I think the reason that the payouts are a lot higher than I thought they were is because this is a super non-controversial topic that I'm making videos on. So any kind of ads can be put in there. I know what my demographic is. They, you know, they've they provide you with what your audience is made up of.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes, they and they all look and weigh about as much as you do.

SPEAKER_00

So I can give you the the stat here, which is probably not too not too surprising, I would venture to say for you. But the the average age for the audience is between 40 and 60. Which is to say, people with disposable income. 99.7% male.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. I guess.

SPEAKER_00

And here's the bit I could not have imagined, but now I'm starting to think of what the types of ads I should be running. 83% have bought dog food in the last 30 days.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So I should maybe start a brand of dog food and start selling it to my followers. Hey, Tim Poole's got his coffee, I'll have my dog food.

SPEAKER_01

Or you could just get an ad deal with like the farmer's dog or something.

SPEAKER_00

What's that?

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, you do not watch enough podcasts.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what a farmer's dog is.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's a it's a fresh, it's basically homemade dog food delivered in a tube. So it's it's for people who want to give their dogs good food and don't want to go through the process of making homemade dog food.

SPEAKER_00

It's for lazy people with money.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Sounds like a good deal. It literally goes in the refrigerator, literally goes in the refrigerator and is delivering. What do you call it? The farmer's dog. There's a couple of them, but that's one of them.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Fresh meals for dogs. Very cool. And let's see what kind of referral program they have.

SPEAKER_02

Wonderful radio.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Yeah, I love this stuff, man. So I just need to start selling dog food. I think that'll do it. That'll generate more revenues. Anyway, what uh you you got all these stories in here. I just have a few of them. What all do you want to talk about?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I was we were gonna talk about the shooting in Idaho Falls.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you asked me. I'd never heard of it. So what's going on?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so there was an active shooter at a I think it was an In N Out burger or five guys, something new. It had just opened up and it, you know, it was crowded because it just opened up, and that guy started shooting with an AR, and this badass who was carrying a five-seven suppressed nice, nice, started approaching, and he's in a fucking cowboy battle. No, a pistol, five seven pistol. Okay, okay, suppressed. What was that?

SPEAKER_00

Popping you open in you soda. Gotcha.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, he he's going and he's shooting

Idaho Shooter Stopped By Armed Citizens

SPEAKER_01

at him. He never hit him, or at least I don't think he did. And a off-duty cop was approaching from the other side and shooting at him, and he ended up the gunman ended up taking his own life. But they were still everybody missed? No, the gunman didn't miss. He killed a couple of people. Oh, he did.

SPEAKER_00

But okay. The gunman hit, but the two guys shooting at the gunman both missed.

SPEAKER_01

That's are they they they were not the cause of his death, let's put it that way. But just the mere distraction and having two people closed in on him from opposite sides was enough for him to take his own life.

SPEAKER_00

But it it's just a yelling Akbar while he was taking his own life.

SPEAKER_01

But this is just a this is just another case, another good documented case of a good guy with a gun, you know, stopping an active shooter situation, and a suppressor was used. So yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Which is good because suppressors are now off the NFA.

SPEAKER_01

Well, one court ruled it that way, and the injunction only applies to a limited group of people.

SPEAKER_00

But it includes us. It does. The group includes us.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, it does. Anyone who's bought stuff from Palmetto State is included, even.

SPEAKER_00

Which is like half the country.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, exactly. Well, half the gun-owning population.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, that's okay, a quarter of the country, yeah. But yeah, if you're the entire state of Texas is included, which is awesome.

SPEAKER_01

How so?

SPEAKER_00

It's in the ruling. The entire state of Texas, Texas is included in the ruling. So even people that are not members of the city. You should talk to them. It's the it's the law of the land now. It that it's a fucking ruling. It's the same thing that goes the other direction.

SPEAKER_01

The dad that originally had the local FFL I go to absolutely would have. His son that now owns it, ain't no way. He's too much of a rule follower.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I've I met the the dad through Sons of Confederate Veterans, put it to you that way.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Hmm. Well, you should find yourself a different dealer then.

Suppressors, NFA Ruling, Texas Fallout

SPEAKER_00

Somebody who respects the law.

SPEAKER_01

But I don't know if I would want to be in possession of one until this is all settled out.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I would I would totally buy one tomorrow, man. No, that's done. It's done. It's it's a ruling from the court that has the sovereignty over this territory. It it certainly can be, but at that point, it's too late. I mean, the the beauty of it is if you look at the decision, which is 66 pages, they threw it out on a constitutional basis that does not include the Second Amendment.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, it's under the taxing power.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's literally part of the constitution and the ruling.

SPEAKER_01

In the ruling, they even said, and do not appeal based on commerce clause because Congress never invoked that power.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. So they preemptively stopped that challenge. Yeah. And given that who is in control of the ATF right now, and given who's in control of the White House, I don't think there's going to be an appeal.

SPEAKER_01

I I would like them to appeal it to the Supreme Court, actually.

SPEAKER_00

I think the the proper thing would be for them to actually try and challenge it on a different, completely different ground. I don't think the Supreme Court's gonna well, I mean, they might. They might just say that this was a correct ruling and that'll be the end of that. So they'll they'll refuse to review it and let this ruling stand. That could happen. But I thought it was a very well thought out Opinion. Yeah. Yeah. Opinion on this. Covers the entire state of Texas, even if you're not a member of any of the firearms groups. So as far as I'm concerned, the only way I'm getting suppressor is with no paperwork now.

SPEAKER_01

Well, let me know if you find an FFL that'll do it. Okay. I can drive. You know, if you're not gonna be able to do it. Was your FFL in Austin? That uh black guy was he because he's a part of a lot of these rulings.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he is, he is. He he would be the one to talk to. I got into an argument with him, so he's not my FFL anymore. An argument about what, Gene? Coupons.

SPEAKER_02

What about coupons?

SPEAKER_00

I I bought a discounted prepaid thing that included some coupons in it, and they they only let me use one coupon. I was like, well, guys, there's nowhere in your policy or description that it says this is for one purchase. It just says then you basically you buy a gift certificate. I don't know if they're still doing this, maybe they got rid of it, but used to be able to buy like a hundred dollar gift certificate, which then gave you $20 discount. Alright, so it's uh basically you pay $80 for a hundred dollar, well, you you pay, you pay, no,

FFL Drama And Becoming The Dealer

SPEAKER_00

it's not right. You pay a hundred dollars and you get $120 worth of purchasing power in theory. And I had done that previously just fine. And then the last time I did it, and I bought something there, and it was like, you know, $65 or whatever, I used that, and I came back to use it again. They're like, oh, well, you already use your discount. I'm like, what do you mean I use my discount? My my discount was for $20 off of $100 that I paid for it. So, you know, it's $120 worth of buying power for $100 that I spent. Nowhere did it say you can only use it once. Nowhere did it say that you can, you know, that the it's reduced with your Cell guy who's a nice.

SPEAKER_01

No, you're being a Jew.

SPEAKER_00

No, I'm no. Oh okay, Goy. So he he is uh they were being dicks. They were being dicks, they're not honoring their coupons correctly. It's like you don't want to honor them, I'll fucking sue your ass. You don't think I know lawyers here in town that'll go after you? Come on.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, please.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. Don't fuck with me. I will fuck you right back.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, hey, just because your other co-host is into three ways with guys, don't think I am.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, we got the joke in. You find you finally managed to connect it all. Good job. Good job. Anyway, so he is no longer my FFL guy. I use a different shot. Although I had some disagreements with the other guys, too. I'm not sure I like them anymore. But I had my friend in town, this Jewish guy, and they gave us a private range to use. And and then when after an hour they came back and says, okay, you guys have to leave. Just ring it up for another hour. I was like, no, no. Like, what the hell? What the what's the problem here? They're like, well, uh, we just sold this to another private party, so you guys have to leave.

SPEAKER_01

And your time was up, so they're gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, which is retarded. I I was a member there for like a year, and I hardly ever used the range. They they got like a thousand bucks out of me for very little use. And then they treat me like this. I'm like, Jesus Christ, guys. So and I I've told you before, like, I've looked at becoming an FFL plenty of times in the past. It's just not, it's never been enough of a worthwhile investment to actually do. Like, basically, if I wanted to become an FFL, I would effectively just be paying more money for every gun I buy.

SPEAKER_01

Why would you be paying more money?

SPEAKER_00

Because of all the fees and all the time involved in being an FFL with one customer. Like, the whole point of being an FFL is to have a lot of customers. So I've never actually done it, I just thought about it. But with the new laws moving in the right direction here, it may be time to review that again. Because I I know that the new director of the ATF has said that they're they're even cutting down on all the bullshit enforcement that they used to do. Their new policy is genuine mistakes don't make you lose your FFL. And they're destroying all the old FFL records, they're in the process of doing that. So they're like they're doing the shit they were supposed to be doing originally. So maybe now we're getting closer to a time where it's worth doing an FFL.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but so here a couple of things. One, if you you know, they're looking at changing the background check process, they're looking at being able to mail stuff to you directly even without an FFL. So I don't know. Seems like what would be your reason at this point to be an FFL?

SPEAKER_00

Because basically pissed off every other FFL in Austin.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Well, I mean, if you how how do you piss them off so bad that you're not willing to go in there and buy a gun? Like, good God. Do they have your picture up? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So what?

SPEAKER_01

I can't imagine this to be true.

SPEAKER_00

Well, next time you're in Austin, we'll have to swing by a few of these places. I'll stay in the car. I don't want to get trespassed, but you're welcome to go and look at my picture in there. Good God, Gene. Have you been trespassed? Doesn't matter. It's irrelevant. My point. My point still stands. Gene trespassed.

SPEAKER_01

He was being a Jew. Yeah. You know, you know, kicked out of 109 countries, kicked out of 109 FFLs.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, God.

SPEAKER_01

Oh. Oh man. Who knew? Who knew it could be such a fun day? Yeah. Anyway.

SPEAKER_00

What'd you what'd you put in from Timpool? You put something from Timpool.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, God. That's a fucking hilarious story. It's actually the next like multiple links down. So this retired NBA player, former NBA, he was a star, Aaron Scantor Freedom, whatever his name is. Yeah, has uh has officially uh Done the paperwork to go into the WNBA draft of a transgender athlete.

SPEAKER_00

Oh god, this is gonna be a South Park episode.

SPEAKER_02

He's calling their bullshit.

SPEAKER_00

He's totally calling because they're they're being very they're literally punishing women in the WNBA who are calling for hormone testing. They're like, because you've asked for it, you will now be sitting out the next five games. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

And he's he he's declared for the WNBA draft in Twitter. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_00

Good for him. Good for him. So once again, we're gonna see that men can be beat women. Oh god, yes.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, he's a washed up retired NBA player. He can go in there and just drop it.

SPEAKER_00

He'll be the all-star, yeah. He'll be the all-star player.

SPEAKER_01

Oh god. Yeah, it's like the uh and and here's the funny thing is he he just said, I'm I'm doing this. I'm not doing it to mock anyone, I'm not doing it like he did a little press conference and he's just doing it. He's doing the paperwork. Good for him. And and if they don't take it, like they have put themselves into such a ridiculous position. Yeah. Because if they don't let him in, then everything they said is bullshit. Yeah. And if they do let him in, everything they said is gonna be proven to be bullshit.

SPEAKER_00

So you know when Brittany Greiner was in Russian prison for marijuana possession, you know she was in a men's prison, right? I I would not Yeah, if you look, go, you could Google it. Brittany Grimer, Russia, men's prison, and you'll see photos of her in a men's prison. Because in Russia, they don't fuck around. If you got a dick, you're a man.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, that's usually how it works.

SPEAKER_00

Well, not in the US, apparently. So it is a um it is a crazy thing that women, woke women, would want to force non-woke women who are actually good at sports to play with men pretending to be women. Yeah. Such a weird, weird, crazy thing. But that's basically who's getting elected now all over the country. If we look at the the results of all the primaries now.

SPEAKER_01

Before we get too far away from guns, did you see ATF, one of their new proposed rule changes that would clarify that if you're traveling, particularly interstate, you're having to go through a state that's unfriendly guns and your stop to get gas, breaks down, whatever. You should not be arrested for violating a state ban laws. Yeah. And then Adam Schiff and others sent a letter saying that the ATF doesn't power. They have no power to do that. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's like Well, the the funny thing is that is literally putting the commerce clause where it should be, which is in support of the individual interstate traveling. When transversing interstate, yeah. Which like, okay, if somebody's going through Oklahoma and Oklahoma has stupid laws, but they're going to everyone should know I am not an incorporation doctrine person.

SPEAKER_01

I am a state's rights person.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And you know, I agree with power. No, I'm for this. Oh, you're for it. Okay. Because it's it's it that that is what the commerce clause was meant for.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think so. It's to prevent well, I think originally it was to prevent states from fucking with each other by saying if something is delivered from Massachusetts to Virginia, New York is then gonna tax it some crazy amount so that you know Virginia has to pay crazy prices. I think that's the original rationale for it, is to prevent the states from fucking each other. But it's obviously been abused to such a crazy extent now that everything the federal government does somehow is tied to the commerce clause. And I think frankly, the court should start standing up and saying that's not what it that means. Like what we have for the Second Amendment should be the case for all amendments.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. Oh man. Alright, so where were you going after that? I just wanted to.

SPEAKER_00

I was just asking them what where that all came from and stuff. I like your little cartoon of the deer. That was cute.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Deer standing at a feeder, and you know, the uh there's a there's a game camera.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. And if you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about, is the caption.

SPEAKER_00

And then relating to those flock cameras, I had a clip that I put in there. I don't know if you watched of a motorcycle dude who looks like he's got about six or seven motorcycles saying that apparently there's a website you can go on to get info about whether there have been any inquiries to flock about your plate.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's a couple places you can go. And the the other thing that came out recently is that there have been multiple arrests here recently, but one

Plate Cameras And Privacy Abuse

SPEAKER_01

of the most egregious was an officer used her access to stalk her husband's ex-wife.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's not surprising at all.

SPEAKER_01

Well, but there was apparently at least hinted at nefarious intent.

SPEAKER_00

Uh yeah, but I'm less concerned about that, frankly, than political use of it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, well. I I I think it just shows the inherent abuse that will come politically eventually.

SPEAKER_00

People that have access to data will always abuse their access. That's just the law. Yeah, it's how it's part of being human nature. People are allowed to do something, they will do it in a manner that is different than what the intent was. Absolutely. That's why we need AI making all decisions, just like in Dubai. Ooh. My God. AI courts, AI RoboCops. That would be the ideal.

SPEAKER_01

Uh-huh. Yeah. Remember, RoboCop shot a guy in the dick.

SPEAKER_00

That happens. Happens all the time. Guys shoot themselves in the dick. What's your point? I don't want my dick shot. Well, then don't do anything that'll get your dick shot off. It's uh apparently a uh low trauma area. It's what? Low trauma area.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, no. Actually, the pelvic bowl is one of the worst places you can get hit because there's so much, so many arteries and everything running through there, and uh you know you can't put a tourniquet on a taint.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I thought you said dick, not pelvic. I mean, your dick's just barely above your knees, so how's that dangerous?

SPEAKER_02

Well, part of your dick isn't.

SPEAKER_00

Well, try not to get that part shot at. If you're gonna get a part shot at just tip, go for jets.

SPEAKER_01

You saw that gun tuber that was reholstering.

SPEAKER_00

That's why I'm making fun of that. That's literally it.

SPEAKER_01

Lost a ball and oh yeah, go. The reasons to not appendix carry.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, don't do that. That we I remember literally back when I used to be a firearms instructor, that was one of the things I was taught to teach is to not do stupid carries. We used to call it Mexican carry, which was appendix carry. It's like, don't do that shit. You're an idiot if you do.

SPEAKER_01

I I don't know if you're an idiot, but what I would say is appendix carry does have some advantages in certain situations. I don't find it comfortable, so I don't do it. But one of the arguments I always make is it's real easy to lift up my shirt on the side and go straight in, right? If you've got a gut hanging at all and you've got an undershirt, like I always wear an undershirt so that the holster's not rubbing up against me, it's way easier for something to get trapped in there. And the other thing I would say is if you are drawing, you can draw fast, but when you're reholstering, there is no reason to be speed running and re-holstering. If you're re-holstering, you think you're in a safe situation, you're ready to put your gun away, stop, yeah, slow down, and look at what you're doing.

SPEAKER_00

You're better off holding your gun for an extra minute or two, waiting for the drillman to leave your system and then re-holstering than you are immediately reholstering after shooting something.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and I would say if you were in a self-defense situation, what I would do is I would immediately set my gun down and step away from it.

SPEAKER_00

I wouldn't I'd be holding on to that damn thing for at least a few minutes to make sure that there's no further. Once you know you're safe, yes.

SPEAKER_01

But the threat has been eliminated and cops are on the way, you're hearing the sirens in the background. The last thing you want to be doing is holding that gun when the cops get there.

SPEAKER_00

No, no. First you move the body outside the house, then you get back in the house where you can hold the gun.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no. You don't want the body outside the house. You drag the body inside the house, so it looks like they were already broken in.

SPEAKER_00

Well, they did already broken in. Right. So, oh my god. Castle doctrine, Gene, castle doctrine. Oh, you're saying so you make sure that it's obvious that you kill them inside the house. I see. Yeah. No, I was thinking of getting them closer to the you know, the wood chipper.

SPEAKER_01

Well, there's that. We had a politician accidentally post a completely nude photo of his two-year-old daughter.

SPEAKER_00

Kids that age are often nude.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I understand this, but he posted it online and people are making pedophilic comments about it.

SPEAKER_00

Was it a pedophilic style photo, or was it like a stupid innocent parent thing? I have a C photo. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

No, God. I I don't list I don't want to be on two-year-old child. Exactly. Like wait, you're not Googling. What status search you're doing? No.

SPEAKER_00

Oh God. No, that's not.

SPEAKER_02

It was for journalism. It was for a podcast that I did.

SPEAKER_00

I don't like when parents have nude videos of their kids. I think it's a little creepy, but I also totally understand it because you know, kids are not like clothes, are something you learn to wear. It's not something you innately want to do.

SPEAKER_01

Well, all I can tell you is my kids keeping them not naked and in the backyard is almost impossible.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. And if you've ever been to

Trans WNBA Troll And Sports Fairness

SPEAKER_00

Europe and the beaches in Europe, and like especially Germany, Sweden, Norway, all those countries.

SPEAKER_01

Who the fuck goes to the beaches in the world?

SPEAKER_00

Nobody, nobody's wearing clothes. Not men, not women, not kids. I think the first time I ever saw like a naked body of some random person, I was probably five years old on the beach. And there was a German family walking by where every single person in that family was but us naked. I was like, Jesus Christ. I was at an age before I could even tell if the mom was hot. That's how young I was. I'm sure it was if I was like, you know, five years older, I'd be calculating that particular, but it's like nudity when it comes to sun activities in a lot of Europe and ironically northern Europe, more so than southern Europe, was just always considered the norm. And our our three European listeners can probably attest to this. Okay. So I thought that that was a little weird, but you know, in Europe, like if they're if the guys are gonna wear anything, they're gonna wear a speedo. Then you get to the US, and all the guys are walking around in knee-length, basically shorts on the beach.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I as someone who did swim team, I don't like speedoes.

SPEAKER_00

No. No. Did you have to shave all your hair when you did oh well never mind, you probably didn't have any.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't really have any then. And what I would say is uh, you know, I was just embarrassed by the bulge.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Well, I didn't make it on the uh Russian swim team. I I was tested when I was uh how old would I have been? Probably six, probably six years old.

SPEAKER_01

You do not have a swimmer's build.

SPEAKER_00

And I float.

SPEAKER_01

And very well.

SPEAKER_00

Quite well, yeah. Without trying hard.

SPEAKER_02

But you know, I wasn't I think you would have to try very hard. I didn't sink.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't have this body when I was a little kid. But so so the way it works is they take like a bunch of kids from school whose parents want them to swim, and then they throw them in the swimming pool and tell them to swim 25 meters in any manner that they can and hopefully not drown. And then the the ones that get there first that have the shortest times at that age getting 25 meters, this is communist Russia. Oh, yeah, that's communist Russia CSSR. The top 20 of them then got to be on the swim team, or not even the swim team, but basically they they got like two hours of swimming lessons a week because the whole this is where they start you. At five years old, they start the selection process for the Olympic team. So they're gonna determine who is worth training that will eventually potentially end up on the Olympic team. And then every year they basically take the top 10% of what's left. And then by the time you're done, you're down to you know the dozen or so fastest swimmers in the country. But they all started swimming at five years old. Like in preparation for competitions. And I just like swimming because I, you know, I grew up around lakes and stuff and rivers, so I was just like swimming as a kid.

SPEAKER_02

I just had whole water.

SPEAKER_00

I was never any good at it. I mean, I was I don't think I was bad, but I wasn't particularly good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I wasn't particularly good either at swimming. Uh but I I did enjoy that the boys and girls swim teams practiced together.

SPEAKER_00

Did they? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Were you beating the girls all the time?

SPEAKER_01

I I was enjoying the view.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you were okay, I see. You were that kind of swimmer. The non-competitive kind.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I was competitive and I, you know, I did 100 meter freestyle and stuff like that. But you know, I when when the girls were in the pool and we were doing something else, I'd definitely be looking over.

SPEAKER_00

Hmm. You now this was a little before your time, but it was after my time. But do you remember a song called Stacy's Mom?

SPEAKER_01

Uh-huh. Uh I bet you do. That's not before my time. No? Really? No. That dude, you I was in high school in the early 2000s. That's what I thought on my time.

SPEAKER_00

I thought that song was from the 90s. Is that from 2000s?

SPEAKER_01

It's from the late 90s.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Stitching. But the the mom is got the video of that, some would dare say is a wee bit pedophilic. Because what you have is basically a teenage girl who's under 18, clearly, who is trying to get the interest of a boy her own age who she invited over to go swimming in the swimming pool, and she's wearing, you know, she's showing off. But the boy is more interested in the fully developed mom of this girl, yes, who is stripping naked inside the house with mommy milkers. Well, yeah, that that see, like that used to be what a MILF was called. A MILF was a relatively young mother with a hot body, and somehow in the last 25 years, the term MILF has basically become any woman with kids of any age. I'm sorry, that's not a MILF because MILF literally stands for mother. I'd like to fuck. I don't want to fuck all these old women.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'm pulling up the music video right now because I haven't seen it. Of course you are forever. I agree that, but that's why we've also got cougar major and all that. Yeah, which all the shit I don't give a shit about, exactly. Right. And, you know. Yeah. Anyway, the the woman's in her early 30s. Yeah. You know.

SPEAKER_00

Well, she's also not just a woman. She's literally a I can't remember which of the models did that, but she's literally a model, a retired model, because they retired in their late 20s. You know, who was on like sports illustrated covers and stuff. She's the one playing the mom. It's like, it's not Kathy Ireland, but it's somebody like that.

SPEAKER_01

And it's jumping, it's little jump cuts and stuff. Yeah, I remember that. Fountains of Wayne.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think that's their only song. I don't remember them doing anything else that made any money.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but you alright, so you gotta remember at this point in time I'm living in Idaho, uh near Seattle. So there's probably a ton of bands. Like, did you ever hear of Lucky Boys Confusion?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

They've got some music you would probably like if you like anyway.

SPEAKER_03

Rachel Hunter, that's who the model was. Rachel Hunter.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Rachel Hunter was a supermodel. Anyway, what else are we talking about? You sent the thing about Islam and the Crusades.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, it was a good good show. Do you remember Simple Plan? I'm a dick.

SPEAKER_02

Addicted to you.

SPEAKER_01

No. I don't remember that. Kind of like that. Well, never mind then. Yes, he, you know, they did this great history of how the crusades came about.

SPEAKER_00

And you have to remember Yeah, and the guy that's on there is Raymond Ibrahim, who is an American historian who's got a PhD, and he got a job working at the Library of Congress, like reviewing and classifying a whole lot of people. I didn't watch that video. I've watched about 30 of his videos in the past,

Islam, Crusades, And Power Structures

SPEAKER_00

though, so I know a lot about him.

SPEAKER_01

So one of the things, the reason why I sent it is they started talking about Esposito. Have you heard him talk about Esposito before? No. Do you know who John Esposito is? Vaguely. Okay, so he was a Muslim specialist advisor for Clinton.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I've met the man. Um really. Yeah. In fact, he wrote me a letter of recommendation for Georgetown. Anyway, but they were trashing his histories and going off about it. And I don't disagree that what I've learned since Esposito is wrong. But no, I met him at the uh Philo event at University of Idaho. So several students get picked around the country to or around the state to go present about propaganda. The the the this that year's event was about propaganda and war. And my presentation was on Fox News, CNN versus Al Jazeera, and I focused in on the headlines. Both CNN and Fox said war in Iraq, and Al Jazeera said war on Iraq. And I my entire presentation was that by changing one letter in the sentence, the meaning is totally skewed and different.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, that's how language works.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and I am how old was I when I did when this happened? I was 14. So you know a late bloomer got it. Uh no, I'm going into a level of media deconstruction here at a very young age, pointing out the biases. It's such an innocuous what would what would at a glance and uh at first thought be considered an innocuous change was not. Yeah. Anyway, anyway, long story short, he was judging the competition. Oh, okay, okay. I I like your declared yes.

unknown

So

SPEAKER_01

That's how I met John and he a pro-Muslim dude. Not necessarily pro-Muslim, but just anti-Jew. No, no, no, no, no. Oh, he was Catholic, so he's definitely anti-Jew. He's very on the we have to understand them and their culture to understand how they're going to behave. I wouldn't call him pro-Muslim at all, but I also wouldn't call him anti-Muslim. He's very academic. I have a copy of his book that he gave me, and it's all about jihad and why and what they do and so on, but it's from a very analytic place.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, I like Ibrahim. I've I've like I said watched probably 20 of his videos, and he was one of the guys that was instrumental in finding bin Laden. Because he he had found sitting in the Library of Congress writings by bin Laden and different imams. Which, you know, we had sitting around, but nobody's translated them. So he started translating that stuff and said, you know, they're literally talking about doing this massive attack on the US with airplanes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the book I have by him is Unholy War, Terror in the Name of Islam, Exploration of Radicalization, Extremism in the Context of 9-11.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So what do you think? Like, if we look at a high-level picture, do you think the problem with that we have currently in the Middle East is a problem of Islam or a problem of Arabs? Islam. You think it's Islam, it's so it's the religion, not the people?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I don't know the Arabs culture pre-Islam. But if you look at Syria, for example, Syria was a Christian nation that was conquered. It wasn't Syria at the time.

SPEAKER_00

Lebanon was Christian 20 years ago.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Anyway, I am very pro a at least cultural reconquista, especially of Europe. I would argue all here here's the problem. Christianity has been watered down too much. And the crusades were in response to Islamic invasions. Right. And Islamic So it the problem with Islam is that Christianity is a religion, not a governance movement. Islam is a political system and a religion. Yeah, it's a political system. It's very analogous to communism. Because the state is the religion in communism.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, it's uh I obviously it borrows from Judaism, but it's well it's a cult of Christianity. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Same as Mormonism, but that's a whole nother thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you you remember the joke. I've told you this before. It's like, why did create why did God create Mormonism?

SPEAKER_01

He didn't. Joseph Smith did.

SPEAKER_00

In order to teach the Christians what the Jews had to deal with. Ha ha ha. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, I I so you know I I think just like after Christ came, the Jews ended up writing the Talmud, and after Christ came, and the Bible is clear, this is it, this is the word. Anything that's contrary to this is not the word of God. And then came Islam, and when Islam hadn't penetrated far enough, then came Mormonism.

SPEAKER_00

I think there's a few things in between there, but yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right, but my point is it's a corruption. And I don't think that does that matter? Yes, yes, it does. Because I think the quite frankly, the devil, the enemy, is always at work and trying to skew God's word to be able to take people off the right path. You know, Mormons don't believe in for by grace are you saved, not of works, lest any man should boast.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They don't believe that. They Islam, same thing. There, there are calls to action in both. And if you look at what what is one of the most proselytized religions in the world today? What is the most heavily proselytized religion in the world today?

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's it's either Christianity or Islam. It's one of those two. No.

SPEAKER_01

The the first of all, Mormons aren't a denomination of Christianity, but no Christian dom denomination has the same number of missionaries that the Mormons do.

SPEAKER_00

Well, because our population, but it's still a tiny number compared to Christianity and Islam. No, it is not. Yeah, it is. I'm gonna challenge you on that. See what Grac says. Mormonism is a little bitty tiny thing.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, it's growing like crazy all over the world because they send out so many damn missionaries.

SPEAKER_00

Well, they're the the missionary population is a hundred percent of the population of Mormons. No, it's everyone goes through being a missionary.

SPEAKER_01

100% of the males.

SPEAKER_00

Girls do it too. The females do it.

SPEAKER_01

They're not called or required to.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know, man. Every Mormon chick I've known is all they've all been missionaries.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Well, I I'm telling you, my dude, my Boy Scout troop was held in the Mormon temple in Kami.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I've never been to one of those. Are they modern or traditional looking?

SPEAKER_01

It so it depends. The ones in Salt Lake are very gothic in a lot of ways. Um and you know, before the the the main holiest of holies there in Salt Lake was open for a while while they were remodeling before they what?

SPEAKER_00

Mormonism? Yes. Okay, do you do you know how many Jews there are in the world? A ton, yes. Well, how many is a ton?

SPEAKER_01

I would say probably all right. Are we talking practicing Judaism or genetic? How many ethnic Jews are there in the world? Fucking billions.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they're 20 million ethnic Jews.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's bullshit. Then I mean how many people have Oscar Jew and they're just calculation is 20 million. Then but how what all right, what what's the one drop rule that we're using here to determine that?

SPEAKER_00

No, the the this is self, self, what you want to call it. Right, but I'm talking actual genetic material. Yeah, I mean, you probably got some. Everybody's got some, but I'm talking about people that identify as Jews. There, there's 20 million people, which is half of 1% of the population of the world. It's a it's a tiny, tiny, tiny, it's less than the population of New Jersey. Okay. And Mormons, the total number of Mormons in the world is 17 million. That's less than Jews.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

They physically can't or numerically can't be the fastest proselytizing religion. Like one continent's, probably even one country's worth of Christians, proselytize more than the entirety of Mormons all over the world.

SPEAKER_01

Mormonism is fairly prolific in its proselytization.

SPEAKER_00

It's not successful, apparently. Do you know what their growth rate is, according to this in 2025? According to Grok. According to Grok in 2025, looking at hundreds of sources, it is 2.16% from 2024 to 2025. Well, of course it is. But Islam isn't. No. No.

SPEAKER_01

So their year-over-year new baptisms globally in 2025 was an increase of over 25% of over 385,000 people.

SPEAKER_00

Mission force 385,000 new people in one year.

SPEAKER_01

Missionary force, over 114,000 total missionaries. How many? 114,000.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's way less than than the Mormons, but those are permanent, like full-time jobs in Christianity. Mormonism is just like a one or two year thing.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So I I don't I'm just saying it's a small fucking religion.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. How many Baptists are there?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Fifty-three million. So is that all over the world or just US? Worldwide. So there's there's about three times as many Baptists as Mormons. Just Baptists. And then you got all the other sects of Christianity.

SPEAKER_01

Well, Baptists are also harder to track because Baptists, you know, one of the one of the things I like about one of the reasons why I attend a Baptist church is there is no governance structure structure of the Baptist church outside of the individual church. Each church is autonomous.

SPEAKER_00

There's not a Baptist Papa.

SPEAKER_01

No, and there's no Pope, there's none of that. You literally have the pastor, and you know, you'll have some functionaries inside the church, but that's that's it. It's all local people. There is no direction from above, like with a lot of other churches. Now you have to take you know female priests and stupid shit like that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Everybody you don't like, you can just exclude. Comparing Christianity worldwide with LDS, Christianity, total population self-identified, 2.6 billion. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, Grok is gonna do two things there. One, you need to tell it to exclude Catholics.

SPEAKER_00

No, don't dude. They literally invented Christianity. You're not gonna exclude the people that invented Christianity from the group Christianity.

SPEAKER_01

We can debate that.

SPEAKER_00

No, that this is a different debate. This is not a debate comparison of Christianity. This is a debate of what sex of Christianity does Ben consider heretical.

SPEAKER_01

My point is counting Catholics, they are counting Coptics, they are counting Orthodox, yeah, and they're all just counting Mormons as Christians.

SPEAKER_00

But even if they are, we can we can do the math. We can teach 2.6 billion Christians, subtract out 17.9 million LDS members, right? We still have 2.6 billion Christians. So subtract out the Catholics for me there, but you can't do that, dude. That's not Christianity. If you want to compare baptism to LDS, that's fine. But you can't you can't exclude the people that invented the religion.

SPEAKER_01

Catholics didn't invent the religion.

SPEAKER_00

They did. It's literally the all the books that are in are the result of Catholicism. Even all the books that you like, they're all there because of Catholics.

SPEAKER_01

Doesn't mean they invented the religion. Well, they kind of did.

SPEAKER_02

Moving on. Where were we even on this?

SPEAKER_00

We were talking about the uh NFA.

SPEAKER_02

How did we get from the NFA to this? I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. You keep throwing religion in the mix. I don't know why.

SPEAKER_01

Uh anyway. Well, ding dong, the witch is dead with the NFA, hopefully.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, hopefully. Did we talk about the duress password phone last time or not? I can't remember.

SPEAKER_01

We talked about it, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What and what was our opinion on?

SPEAKER_01

My opinion is it's a great fucking feature.

SPEAKER_00

Because I yeah, because there the the border control interpreted it as volumes and everything else.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, we did talk about it. You're right, you're right.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, my my thought was a little different. I I don't think I think this was a conversation. See, the problem, guys, listening to the podcast is that lately Ben and I have been talking multiple times a week for like an hour each in between doing the podcasts. And I'm starting to confuse the conversations that we had without recording with the conversation that we're having while recording.

SPEAKER_01

B12 Gene. B12.

SPEAKER_00

You and you and fucking Darren keep telling me B12. I don't think B12 is really a required thing. Like, memory is meant to

Duress Passwords And Border Searches

SPEAKER_00

go, it's not meant to be there forever. That's why it's called RAM, not ROM.

SPEAKER_01

Did you see Iran's latest Lego propaganda piece?

SPEAKER_00

Wait, can I no? I I did see it. It was funny. I like all their Lego propaganda pieces, they're hilarious. But let me finish this up. My thought was you should have a travel mode for your phone, which basically says that you enter, you enter travel mode while you're on the plane before you get off the plane. And in travel mode, you have one hour to enter your password. And if you don't enter it, the phone just gets erased automatically. Like it's it should be maybe it doesn't need to be an hour, it could be a half hour, but whatever it is, it should be basically a erase on a timer. And if you don't enter the password, the phone gets erased without anybody pushing any buttons, without having to be connected to the network, without anything. You should just be able to start a timer to erase your phone while you're on the plane, and then you prevent it from being erased by punching in your password.

SPEAKER_01

I like my idea better. Just have a hidden volume. So I put in one password, it shows just a blank phone screen that's you know, nothing in that it's it's and you're just gonna assume that your secret volume is something that the guys over at Border Patrol don't know anything about. I don't care if they know anything about it. TrueCrypt proved this out. Look at the TrueCrypt hidden volume feature. It's extremely successful. This is technology that's been around since the early 20s.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I use TripCrypt, dude, but back in when you were in high school yet. But it's it's a it's yes, it worked, but not in situations where you're crossing the border or you're doing something that is going to have people assume that you're doing something nefarious.

SPEAKER_01

So back in the day getting back from vacation. Why am I being searched? What am I doing? I know. Oh, you shouldn't be.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not arguing that you should be. I'm just saying the code they find. You could also just send all the shit off your phone to yourself before you come to the before you leave whatever country you're in. Yeah, but then and then just erase your phone proactively.

SPEAKER_01

But are you using a secure service to do that?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, of course.

SPEAKER_01

By the way, I was posting the recipe page and pictures to the recipe page. And I got to go.

SPEAKER_00

By the way, did you see I included the pictures of the food in the podcast itself? It should show up in your podcast player.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, I didn't check it out. Cool. And these were just dishes that I had made recently. So I'll try next time I take make some of the others, I'll try and take some photos and remember. Yep. But I was like, crap, did I just out myself with exif data? Because I didn't even think about it. And then I was like, no, that's right. Signal strips it out automatically.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it does, doesn't it? Yes, that's a good point. Oh, that's a good thing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's uh that that's a very good point because XF data can certainly out you.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. I was like, fuck.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

By the way, the that little song you made, I kind of like it, dude.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I well, you should be you should definitely be honored at the fact that I made you a song like that. I am, I am, I am yeah, and and I have a performer clut credit on there because it's my whistling.

SPEAKER_01

And that's some damn good whistling, dude. I think whistle like that.

SPEAKER_00

And I've always been really good at whistling. And also, while I did use AI to throw together a bunch of like factoids about you from your little who's been page, I actually wrote probably about 30% of the lyrics myself.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, there you go. If anyone wants to listen to it, it's uh all over Twitter right now. Yeah, it's hot on Twitter, I hear. And relatively for us, yes. But on my re so if you go to nameben.com and uh recipes, there's a link to the recipes and the songs on there too.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah. And or you could just uh you know get our podcast, which you're listening to, where the last episode before the one we're recording was that song, and the text in the podcast was the last three recipes that Ben did. And if you have a podcast player that shows pictures, it'll actually change the picture of that food while uh the song is playing.

SPEAKER_01

Well, anyway, the the recipes are permanently up on the website, and I did a uh new blog entry for the first time since earlier in 26.

SPEAKER_00

Now, what'd you talk about?

SPEAKER_01

The water system across the seven states.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And just kind of should people be stocking up on water?

SPEAKER_01

Here's the deal. You like

Recipes, Metadata, Water Systems, DEF CON

SPEAKER_01

I said last time, you should have water filtration and some basic amount of water at least, just to be somewhat mildly prepared. But water and wastewater has been neglected for so long in a lot of these small areas. I mean, PLCs were showing up on Shodan in 2026. They got hit. This is not a high-level attack. This is low-hanging fruit that I'm surprised has not been fucked with earlier.

SPEAKER_00

You think it was the Russians?

SPEAKER_01

Well, the the current theorized attribution is to the Iranians, but I don't play around with attribution, dude. It doesn't make any sense or difference to me.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I know what else I can. So one of my friends that is works at Amazon managed to get himself sent to to uh DEF CON, which is going on right now. Yep. When's the last time you went to DEF CON?

SPEAKER_01

Funny story. Never been. You've never been to DEF CON, really? No.

SPEAKER_00

It's been a long time since I went to DEF CON.

SPEAKER_01

Here's why. So early in my career, couldn't get anyone to pay my way. I couldn't afford to go. Then I met my wife, and her birthday is coming up, and it's right, it always falls where it's a conflict.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay. So you just choose wrong every year. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So I could literally, you know, the level I'm at, I could just say I'm going to DEF CON and go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So I guess I'm not understanding why not you have never been. That sounds like a perfect excuse to get away from the wife. But my buddy's first comment, this is the first one he's ever gone to. Uh-huh. So if you're listening, uh your thumb is acting funny, okay.

SPEAKER_01

My phone is acting funny.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, no, no, no. No, his first comment is like So it's basically a sausage fest where every guy is wearing a black t-shirt. Like, well, you're not wrong. There's a little more to it than that, but that that's that's a true observation. It is much like my audience on YouTube, 99.7% male. And the preponderance of black t-shirts is very high. Now, I believe this year also Brian Brushwood's there as well. Oh, cool. Yeah. So maybe they'll bump into each other. They know each other. But I haven't gone since 2009, I think, was the last one I went to.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, I tried to be muted for that, but it didn't work.

SPEAKER_00

Have you gone to a well you've got to plenty of other conferences, obviously. Just not that one. Yeah, it's just the one I used to really enjoy was Smook on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, me too. The other thing is, you know, definitely.

SPEAKER_00

would be my preference in a lot of ways too but the there's there's plenty of cybersecurity conferences and especially specialized ones did you see that the US is buying yen I did thoughts yeah did you watch Trump being asked about it buying yen yes this was a classic Trump clip this was incredibly nice like fun to watch so Trump is asked by a reporter about you know why is the US helping Japan stabilize their financial system by buying yen and trump said well you know Japan's getting they've been good friends with us you know we we've helped them they've helped us and then he throws in except for Pearl Harbor of course which every past president would have thought that was a faux pas to use

Buying Yen, Trump Clips, Russia Waiting Game

SPEAKER_00

to say anything about Pearl Harbor and Japan Trump has no such filter so it's like well you know other than Pearl Harbor they they've they've been pretty good friends with us so I don't know what do you think about it I I don't have a problem with us buying yen well I I think it's interesting because the the amount of yen we bought is nothing it's a few tens of billions of dollars but I think it stops the shorting of the yen yeah like I I think it's a takes the profit out of it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah yeah it and it's a bit of a geopolitical well it doesn't necessarily take the profit out of it because when you're talking of a international currency exchange market in the trillions you know this this is a drop in the bucket but it's it's a signal that we will help our allies.

SPEAKER_00

I'm pretty sure that the yen is not trading in the trillions though uh okay I it it's definitely trading in the trillions of yen well yeah just because yen's not worth much uh right but I but it's uh I had to I had to do a little ant fucking there just to get yeah yeah well that's that hey I that's why I'm a millionaire in rubles as well the phrase about a hundred bucks it's a little more than a hundred bucks but it's not anywhere near what what a it's not an impressive number. A million rubri is I think it's around 10 grand or so now too bad you can't get it out I mean I kind of wouldn't want to get it out because it's worth less than what I was when I bought it but had I been able to get it out when it doubled I could have literally made like it wasn't quite a hundred but it was like 90% profit in about six weeks. Problem is then it slid back down after that well we have to hurry up and finish this thing up yeah well again my prediction here is that they're going to wait until Trump's out of office so all we're gonna see for the next two years is more of the same shit that we're seeing right now.

SPEAKER_01

Because they what they are genuinely afraid of the Ukrainians are genuinely getting better tech than the Russians.

SPEAKER_00

Oh totally as fast as the Ukrainians they're not no no no do they think if Rubio is president that that's gonna be easy easier than that and I'll tell you why because all anyone literally anyone who becomes a president in the US is more predictable than Trump okay Trump is the most unpredictable president the country's ever had and he knows how to use that to his advantage and so for Putin this is really more of like the last thing you want to do is do something that makes Trump overreact is it's gonna be hard to roll that back and so the best thing you can do is just contain containment policy is just keep doing more of the same absorbing the the you know the deaths essentially know that you have more people than Ukraine to run out of people at some people the only at some point the only people fighting for Ukraine will be Europeans of non-Ukrainian descent. But it it's um and Americans yeah yeah well I guess there's some Americans as well but there's a lot of Europeans there there's there's videos where like the the lingua franca in some of these units is German because most people don't speak Ukrainian that are in the unit but everybody can speak German. So it it's really I think it would be risky from Russia's standpoint to escalate right now. They're certainly not willing to negotiate any territory back their only real play here is just to wait it out. And I think they made a huge mistake early on early on they should not have worried about casualties Ukrainian casualties they should have done a much more intense campaign they should have focused directly on Kiev not all these surrounding areas and they should have gotten rid of Zelensky meaning killed him and then had somebody else to deal with that wasn't Zelensky surprised Zelensky hasn't been taken out by Zelensky. Right? Exactly exactly so I don't know man it's it's hard to say I think the support for the war in the average Russian is definitely way down now because it's been dragging for so long it's it's much like the support for us being in us meaning US being in Afghanistan was dragging and more and more people were like what the fuck are we doing there? We need to pull out so I we'll we'll see what ends up happening but I I predict that it's not going to happen until after Trump is out of office. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll find out it happens occasionally but my best read on this is that Russia's in a holding pattern right now Well we'll have to wait and see did you send did you see uh Mitch McConnell was discharged from rehab? I I saw a tweet about it.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't read any of the details though yeah so he's going home still no live footage of him or anything like that.

SPEAKER_00

I think he died a long time ago but why wouldn't they just announce it's just been an auto pen signing all his shit.

SPEAKER_01

Why wouldn't they just announce it? Because they don't want to have elections but they have to have elections regardless at some point in time. Or maybe they rather they don't want the governor appointing somebody maybe they want to just wait until it's right before the elections to announce it oh my god oh my god former NBA player Royce White says he's declaring for the next WNBA draft after Canter yes there's two of them that's awesome men.

SPEAKER_00

Yes that is that is so awesome it might be worth watching it's worth watching right now I've been watching it uh I like the the blonde chick she's totally my type yeah I mean six foot two she needs a boob job blonde no boobs perfect why I do so you you like I don't get it dude I'm sorry I I don't get it like the girls that look like little boys I don't get it what what little boy looks like six foot two dude they ain't no little boys looking like that no I I think she's got a super pretty face just if you look at a just her why she needs a boob job like if she was you know five foot six or something she would be incredibly incredibly hot given that she's like six foot two less so but still generally way above the average female taller than you're like a few inches taller me I mean I'm I'm six foot two as well so don't forget that that's on my Twitter says by the way did you see that uh Trump signed another executive order? Which one though?

SPEAKER_01

Uh banning birthright citizenship oh I heard he was doing that I didn't read the order what'd the order say they crafted it into the language of the Supreme Court decision. Nice so basically they said any foreigners who are in enemies basically are not subject to our jurisdiction yada yada yada and they're basically linking the since the cartels and everything that have been designated foreign terrorist organizations and so on. And they run the run the coyote networks. Yep what they're saying is anyone who gives aid to the coyote networks is their money yes to pay for your ticket would be aid yeah yes well that's good he he's he's done it in a very very neuron they've reclassified all the illegals

Birthright Citizenship And Civic Literacy

SPEAKER_01

as terrorists pretty much good for them or supporting terrorism yeah yeah yeah no that's good we just need to start working on the domestic terrorists more I agree and we start removing people's citizenship yeah we totally need to like this this guy in Michigan oh yeah yeah yeah did you watch him yeah uh you know the whole like death to America chanting like nothing yeah yeah it's it's the the anchor baby thing is getting over it's it's gotta be we need to it's already here and it's biting us in the ass.

SPEAKER_00

It is totally biting us in the ass. We shouldn't have let it happen initially I always thought it was problematic when the US just starts letting in large groups of the same nationality. That's how you get all the Somalis in one place.

SPEAKER_01

That's how you get all the I mean at this point I would almost be willing to say anyone who hasn't been here for more than one anyone who's been here one generation or less deport.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah fuck you I love you man but you know hey you just want to get rid of you just want my stuff I know you bastard no i i think the obvious answer here is anyone that can't pass a citizenship test should lose their citizenship let's start with that I'm good with it yeah you'd be okay I'm not trying to get rid of you you're not you don't have any of your shit that you're gonna give me anyway but it's there are a lot of people on the left that would lose their citizenship if they had to take a citizenship test.

SPEAKER_01

When I say citizenship test I mean the super easy basic one that all the legal immigrants have to go through and take to get their citizenship with El Said who's the guy we're talking about Hassan Piker has called for Democrats Hassan Piker is the first guy that needs to get kicked out of the U.S. Yeah yeah yeah here's what the deal is though the Democrats are gonna go against this guy they have to otherwise they lose fucking everything Bill Maher is gonna vote Republican in 2022.

SPEAKER_00

By the way it's not like El Said is his last name but his his real name is Abdul Imrahman Mohammed El Said how does a guy with a name like that end up getting elected well he hasn't yet he's just the the representative of the Democrats yeah in what state in Islamistan yes exactly exactly yeah yeah he was born in the Detroit suburbs to Egyptian parents his his dad was raised Mohammed his dad named Mohammed was raised in Alexandria they're like as bad as the Catholic Latinos where like every other kid is a Jesus here every other kid is a fucking Mohammed it's the most common name in the world at this point it's it's crazy man.

SPEAKER_01

So last story I have is the California college system professors are calling to reinstate the SAT requirements so I didn't realize they left the SAT requirements like how do you not have SATs to go to college in 2022 I believe why DEI buddy everybody takes the SATs why wouldn't you you you didn't come so racist yeah I took the A C T and the SAT yeah yeah yeah I think I did too I think I did both of them I took the A C T before high school when I was in eighth grade and I I was in the top like two or four percentile then.

SPEAKER_00

In eighth grade yeah like my SAT scores weren't as great because of the SA portion and my handwriting and spelling but why don't you do I have terrible I yeah yeah I have terrible handwriting and spelling is just I am good at many things this is not one of them I I'm right there with you dude spelling was always my worst subject in school like what back then before computers before computers when we had to spell by hand I was god awful it I always wrote it off as the fact that English is my second language but then I took Russian and I realized my spelling in Russian is just as bad. So it's not an it's not English it's like my whole concept of language that has to do with spelling doesn't work right. Yeah and I'm not dyslexic. I I'm fine with the order of letters it's just there's like words are not spelled phonetically I'm a big fan of phonetic like why can't we just spell shit the way it's pronounced or you go the other direction start pronouncing things the way they're spelled no silent letters no modifiers just the way it's spelled like fucking Esperanto everybody should just learn Esperanto yeah you know what on dyslexia it's interesting because I struggled to read as a kid because and I finally got this one doctor whose PhD and instructor specialized working with dyslexics and he ended up teaching me a speed read and I you don't have time to confuse the letters that makes total sense well well and not only that but you're following along and so on but you're moving fast enough.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah and so I can read at a very high rate with very high comprehension rate. Yeah which is annoying by the way because every time I mention a book you're like oh I read that six months ago yeah like why I went the fuck but here's the other thing what's really hard is if I have to read something aloud because it's got to cross over to the brain you know because this you the where you're reading and comprehending in the speech they're different parts. Yeah so what's fucking funny is I have to read ahead hold that in RAM and then slowly you know it sounds like I'm reading slowly but really I'm already two sentences ahead you know and reading aloud is one of the most difficult things for me not to sound like a complete bumbling idiot that can't read oh I know what I'm gonna make you do on next time we have a party okay go ahead yeah no I will decline thank you a special poem written for Ben's mother Ben would you like to read it I'm sure your mom would appreciate it Gene I think you as the author would better deliver it.

SPEAKER_00

Well I would but you know English is my second language so I I I really can't but you would be great at it well what else you got good time I don't know I don't know we're kind of we're hitting the two hour mark getting pretty pretty close to it anyway I don't know if there is anything else to really bring up we kind of talked about the non-politics topics that I mentioned so we're good on that count I don't know if there's anything anything else that we haven't jumped on I'm looking forward to football it's getting close yeah yeah yeah yeah football season sports goes getting the itch I've been watching so I don't normally watch a lot of sports shows or anything like that like if I catch game day early I'll watch it but Josh Pate he's got a YouTube college football show and that's all he does is college football.

SPEAKER_01

Alright I don't watch him much during the summer or anything like that or even spring. When we get around signing day and stuff like that I'll pick him back up but like starting now I'll watch his YouTube show and it's three days a week pretty religiously and it will like I I I just start getting into football and it's in that mindset. College football man I love it I think college football is more fun to watch than the NFL yeah me too anyway one of the guys that's on my newly forming America's team he's a big LSU fan and of course we dominated L AM dominated LSU last year. Like we are the reason why they fired their head coach Louisiana State yes and he and I are already making bets about what's gonna happen this year

College Football Culture And Travel Wrap

SPEAKER_01

and stuff you know and and it's it's the it's the rivalry and the camaraderie that you just don't get in the NFL. Because it it and like there are NFL style fans in college football those are the people who go to Walmart and buy a shirt and didn't go to school or whatever. That's cool. That's fine. Hey happy you like us but it will never mean to that person what it means to me having been a student going to the games camping out for football tickets having to suffer through the fucking francionione era like there it's a different level man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah well I just own one orange one burnt orange shirt and that's enough.

SPEAKER_01

Well you you should burn it and we'll next time you come over we'll get you some good maroon I probably still have maroon because that was the University of Minnesota colors too.

SPEAKER_00

I think I I don't there's no way that shirt fits but I think I still have one sweatshirt from the University of Minnesota football team. Say goodbye to the orange and the white yeah it's football in Texas is different.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's a we have high schools with stadiums that rival some colleges.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely absolutely and this is something a lot of the Europeans mentioned when they were here for the World Cup. Which incidentally have you seen the video of the Europeans there was one video that was making the routes of basically European women crying about having to now be back home it was it was well I mean if they're attractive then they could they're European women of course they're attractive there's no fat women in Europe. I'm just saying yeah I know I know what you're saying but most of them were married already but the the what was to take care of that Jesus Christ Ben that what was interesting was you know they they flew out most of them for two weeks or three weeks which in Europe is only part of your summer vacation of course so they they're only here for a short period of time and they so fell in love with America that their own country now just looks like shit to them. And I think that this this was the most brilliant PR move ever done by any president in the history of the country it could save Europe. It maybe let's hope it saves Europe because Europe would be worth visiting if it gets Europe's still worth visiting I don't really want to go to London at this point. Well yeah Edinburgh was great and I'm yeah well Edinburgh is a little further away Islamistan back there but still not not in great shape yeah I mean there's so many great places I frankly wouldn't mind going and visiting the what oh god I'm blanking out here. The what is that country called man I don't know there's a few of them so I can't that one country is it in Europe no Asia Thailand no Vietnam no Singapore Kazakhstan So I wouldn't mind this in Kazakhstan because that that's where those videos of the guy that you like watching the cooking videos are from no no he's in Azerbaijan oh is he I thought it was in Kazakhstan now the super Azerbaijan I mean they're they're all right next to each other out there. Yeah yeah the Caucasus yeah just going to any of the Caucasus countries that is about as going back in time without but still having like running sewage as you can get I mean you can go further back in time by going to Africa but then you're on your own but any of those sort of Southwest Asian countries are going to be great and then of course the big one the big prize is Iran you know going to Iran as an American tourist legally is something I've wanted to do since literally 1979.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah I wouldn't do it right now but no not no I'm I'm saying I would like to when we finally take over Iran and get rid of all the all the Muslims out of there have you seen the Trump big hair memes big hair yeah oh my god the what's the big hair memes because Trump's hair was fluffier than normal or something one of the things and they uh the internet has done what the internet does right and here I'll send you one that's on my Twitter feeder right now there it's in the show notes.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god that's crazy hair yeah it it's it's 80s style hair band this is like Adam Curry hair yes exactly from the oh my god I haven't found the original image this is awesome I love this this is like totally 80s different with hair like that doesn't he he looks more butch with hair like that for one Marco Marco still looks like Marco how the hell do you pull off a more butch look with longer hair yeah I don't know but he kind of does I mean if you look at it he looks more like an alpha dude with the long hair than he does with his normal hair he's a little more of a pussy with normal looking hair maybe part of it is that for once they didn't make him be a fat guy. Yeah because they keep doing that in almost every video but yeah this this is this is the probably the first video where Marco literally just looks like Marco did you watch the video uh the the meme where Trump tells Marco that he now has to run as the socialist candidate in Maine really you didn't see that one oh that one is fucking hilarious man because Marco you know he like he gets a new job appointment every week one week he's the president of Cuba the next week he's the president of Iran and now he's like Marco we need to take one for the team you gotta you gotta run as the opposition in Maine and so my Marco you know gets into the whole spirit of it. It's it's a great video. Alright dude I think we're yapping long enough let's wrap this puppy up and we'll all catch you on the next one
